The ancient city of Kano became the cynosure of all eyes when Cherie Egglicious, first noodles in Nigeria to contain real egg plus Vitamin A and Iron berthed in the Nigerian market by Olam Sanyo Foods, one of country’s leading noodle-makers.
Hindsight Communications, saddled with creating an experience with northern flavour brought a key influencer, Ali Nuhu to endorse the brand. In addition, Bristol Palace Hotel, Kano, the venue of the launch came alive with an assortment of cultural elements like traditional dancers, horse riders and Kakaki blowers for the first phase of the launch.
However, residents of Kano were in for a larger surprise when the Cherie Egglicious brand stormed town in a procession, heralded by a royal horse rider amidst fanfare. The party finally anchored in the middle of town, where product sampling and notable brand endorsements took place among whom were Kannywood star, Ali Nuhu, urging fans to give the brand a try.
More than 150 guests were invited to try innovative noodles recipes created with Cherie Egglicious. As part of the launch
promotion, consumers who bought a carton of 40 noodles got four free packets free.
