On the 27th of May every year, Nigeria celebrates Children’s Day as a way of advocating for the rights and welfare of children.
While parents, teachers, religious leaders, governments at all levels and civil society all have a role to play, one brand – Chic Choc, a biscuit brand from the stable of OK Foods, decided to push the envelope even further by creating a deeply immersive experience for children called the Children’s Day Fiesta. Spread across several locations in Lagos (Maryland Mall; Fantasyland, Ilupeju; Festival Mall, FESTAC; UNILAG), this unparalleled experience attracted children from several schools in Lagos to have a
time of their lives, singing, dancing, getting enlightened on nutritional facts, and the best part, receiving gifts individually, and for their respective schools.
The star attraction was the dance competition, when the children were required to move to the rhythm of the Chic Choc dance. It was truly a children’s day to remember, thanks to Hindsight Commuications.
